Greencore Homes was officially recognised as a Madaster UK Pioneer at a summer event in London last week. Our colleagues Iain McCann and Ness Scott represented Greencore at the Pioneer networking event, where they were presented with a certificate acknowledging our collaboration with Madaster.
The event was Greencore’s first chance to meet with our peer group of UK Pioneers, including industry leaders such as Morgan Sindall Group plc and Drees & Sommer. The event reinforced our shared commitment to building a sustainable future and was the catalyst for some valuable discussion around the challenges and opportunities of advancing circularity in the construction industry.
The Greencore-Madaster partnership will help us develop material passports for our homes, enabling accurate measurement and communication of the embodied carbon within our product. As we integrate this data-driven approach throughout our design, manufacturing and construction processes, we will be able to validate our environmental performance for customers and investors alike.
