The ethos of Greencore Homes is to focus on caring for those around us and the world we live in. Our priorities are to run a sustainable company, build sustainable homes, ensure good governance and look after everyone we interact with.
Sustainability
Our commitment to sustainability goes beyond the homes we develop and is part of our DNA. We have formed an internal Sustainability Group, chaired by our CEO, which is developing a framework for our approach, a set of KPIs and a roadmap for Greencore to become a fully net zero business.
We are introducing renewable energy to power our factory and head office, we facilitate the use of green transport for our employees, we use PPE made from recycled materials and many other initiatives that align our business operations with our product.
Health & safety
Our first priority in everything we do is to look after the Health & Safety of our people, our supply chain, our stakeholders and any member of the public that is affected by our business operations. We have set up a quarterly Health & Safety forum chaired by our Operations Director and attended by the Executive team and a wide range of appropriate team members.
We will be recording and reporting data on any accidents and incidents and other KPIs to ensure transparency and the ability to learn from potential issues that arise. Our strategy to prevent incidents in the first place includes a third party audit of our approach to Health & Safety, individual training plans for everyone involved in our business and careful management of our supply chain both before work commences and during any work. We will not settle for, or accept, anything other than an exemplary standard across all areas of the business.
Customer service
Greencore Homes expects to deliver an exceptional product and ongoing level of service to each and every one of our customers. We are rigorous in our approach to quality control seeking to resolve any issues before a customer moves in but also to rapidly respond to anything that needs dealing with post-occupation.
Our reputation as a developer of exemplar homes both in terms of sustainability and quality is central to our license to operate. That reputation will be fundamental to our success as we seek to grow our output in the coming years.
