Calum Miller MP Visits Greencore

Posted on: March 14th, 2025 by masteruser

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming our local MP, Calum Miller, to the Greencore office. It was a fantastic opportunity to show him around, discuss our approach to sustainable housebuilding, and introduce him to the Biond panel—our innovative, closed-frame, timber panel system.

At Greencore, we’re committed to building Better Than Net Zero Homes using natural, low-carbon materials. The Biond panel is a key part of that, delivering Passivhaus standards, high thermal performance, rapid construction times, and significantly lower embodied carbon compared to traditional building methods.

It was great to share our progress and ambitions with Calum and discuss how policy can support the delivery of truly sustainable homes at scale.

Thanks for visiting, Calum—we look forward to continuing the conversation!

Greencore Supports Land Aid

Posted on: February 28th, 2025 by masteruser

Last night, James Pritchett, braved the elements for the LandAid SleepOut—well, almost. Instead of sleeping under the stars, he spent the night in the slightly less scenic surroundings of Westfield Car Park, London!

While it wasn’t exactly a night in the wilderness, it was a powerful reminder of the harsh realities faced by thousands of young people experiencing homelessness. Just one night of discomfort doesn’t compare to what many endure daily, but it helps raise awareness and funds for LandAid the property industry’s charity working to end youth homelessness. James wasn’t alone, sharing the frosty concrete floor with friends from ING Media, Hunter ops and Bloom Project Management.

At Greencore, we believe everyone deserves a safe, secure, and sustainable home. A huge well done to James and everyone who took part—whether under the stars or under a concrete ceiling.

Movember Magic at Greencore Homes raises nearly £1,700!

Posted on: December 1st, 2024 by masteruser

This month, our incredible team has been on a mission to raise awareness and funds for men’s health. Here’s how we’ve been making a difference:

Our Mo Bros, James Pratt, Will Hayes MRTPI, Tasos Tzioufas, Ken Tsang, Alec Puleston, Guy Stevens, and Ashley Wighton, have been sporting some seriously impressive facial hair, turning heads and sparking conversations about men’s mental health and wellbeing. The team, including our Mo Sistas Katie Rogers, Ness Scott, and Chloe Spuffard, have walked, run, cycled and swam an incredible 521km between them, showing true Team Greencore spirit and commitment to the cause!

Globally, male suicide rates are a serious concern, with too many men suffering in silence. The Movember Foundation is working to reduce male suicide rates by 25% by 2030. Every conversation, every donation and every step counts.

Whether it’s growing a moustache, walking kilometers, or simply checking in on a mate, we can all play a part in breaking down the stigma around men’s mental health.

Yesterday, Louis Warden, Steve Brett, Will Hayes MRTPI, and Ashley Wighton from Greencore took part in an incredible charity bike race in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (Breakthrough T1D UK).

This cause is close to the hearts of several of our colleagues. A big thank you to RPS for organising the event and inviting us to join.
