Greencore Wins Award at Unlock Net Zero

Posted on: July 12th, 2024 by masteruser

🏆 Exciting News: We won the Collaboration of the Year Award at the Unlock Net Zero Awards! 🏆

We are thrilled to announce that the Hook Norton Project, a development by Greencore Homes in partnership with Hook Norton Community Land Trust (HNCLT), Charlie Luxton Design, SNRG and Soha Housing has been recognised with the Collaboration of the Year (new development projects) Award at the Unlock Net Zero Awards! 🎉

This project stands as an exemplar of innovation, sustainability, and community engagement.

Key highlights of this award-winning project include:

🌱 Better Than Net Zero Homes: Our homes are built using an innovative closed timber frame panel insulated with natural materials. Unlike traditional brick houses, the structure of our homes lock up more carbon than they emit.

🏘️ Diverse and Affordable Housing: A mix of homes prioritising perpetual affordability and local connections.

🔋 Innovative Microgrid Solution: Partnering with SNRG to integrate a microgrid with battery storage.

The success of the Hook Norton Project highlights the power of collaboration. Greencore’s innovative construction techniques, Charlie Luxton Design’s architectural vision, HNCLT’s community-driven ethos, and Soha’s commitment to long-term affordability and management have collectively created a sustainable, thriving neighborhood.

This award is a testament to what can be achieved when we work together towards a common goal.
