On Tuesday, Greencore Homes was proud to contribute to a round table discussion at the House of Commons on Delivering Sustainable and Affordable Homes for the Future, hosted by the Industry and Parliament Trust.
The evening brought together parliamentarians and senior leaders from across housing, finance, energy and sustainability to explore a defining question for the UK: How do we scale housing delivery while meeting our climate commitments and keeping homes genuinely affordable?
Our Co Founder and Innovation Director, Ian Pritchett, gave a talk on Greencore’s Better Than Net Zero homes. Also speaking was Oliver Novakovic MCABE CBuildEng of Barratt Redrow, with the session chaired by Daniel Zeichner MP.
We were also pleased that Sue Riddlestone OBE, Co Founder of Bioregional, contributed to the wider conversation, bringing decades of expertise in sustainable placemaking and measurable environmental performance.
At Greencore Homes, these conversations reflect the work we are already delivering on the ground through Better Than Net Zero homes and climate positive places.
The debate is progressing. The focus now must be on delivery.
