Exciting news! We’ve secured planning permission to deliver 42 better than net zero homes in Milton Heights, near Didcot.
Just 3 miles from Didcot Parkway Station, this landscape-led project—designed by HTA Design LLP —will offer 27 open market and 15 affordable homes, along with new accessible green spaces for both residents and the local community.
CEO Jon Di-Stefano stated “In the middle of a climate and housing crisis, our homes demonstrate that it is possible to provide places that are affordable, beautiful and climate positive. The development at Milton Heights is another step forward in our journey to building 10,000 homes by 2035.”
Built with innovative closed timber frame panels that are insulated with natural materials and to Passivhaus standards, the homes have a low energy demand. The energy that is utilised is from renewable energy sources such as solar PV. This results in homes that are net zero in operation, better than net zero embodied carbon in the structure of each home and ultra-low embodied carbon in construction of the whole home. At Greencore we are setting a new benchmark for sustainable housing in the UK.
Greencore is redefining housing—creating places that are beautiful, sustainable, and community-focused.
