Greencore Homes joins Zero Carbon Oxfordshire Partnership

Greencore Homes has joined the Zero Carbon Oxfordshire Partnership (ZCOP), supporting countywide efforts to cut emissions and adapt to a changing climate.

We are one of eight organisations joining the partnership, bringing together expertise in low-carbon construction, farming, nature recovery and sustainable transport.

ZCOP connects local authorities, businesses, universities, public services and community organisations to share knowledge and collaborate on practical climate action. Its work includes improving the sustainability of buildings, managing energy, supporting sustainable transport and helping Oxfordshire adapt to climate change.

For Greencore, joining the partnership is an opportunity to share our experience of delivering Better Than Net Zero homes and learn from organisations tackling related challenges across the county.

Our approach combines bio-based building materials with energy-efficient design to reduce the carbon impact of new homes while creating comfortable places to live. Working alongside organisations involved in land use, nature and transport also reflects the wider decisions that help shape sustainable communities.

The other new members are Earth Trust, FarmED, North East Cotswold Farmers Cluster, CPRE Oxfordshire, Beard Construction, Darcica Logistics and Velocity Cycle Couriers.

We look forward to contributing to the partnership and working with fellow members to support Oxfordshire’s transition to net zero.
