Over the weekend we celebrated the incredible women at Greencore Homes and the women shaping our industry, our communities and the world.
Construction has historically been a male dominated sector. In the UK, women currently make up around 15% of the construction workforce and only around 2% of on site roles, highlighting the opportunity to attract more diverse talent into the industry.
We are particularly proud that Sophie Kettle, our Site Manager at Greencore Homes, is featured in a recent article in The Times discussing the challenges and opportunities for women in construction.

At Greencore Homes, we are fortunate to work alongside talented women across every part of our business, from finance and operations to sustainability, partnerships, communications and project delivery. Their expertise, leadership and commitment are helping to shape the future of housing and deliver homes that are better than net zero.
International Women’s Day is an important moment to recognise these contributions and to continue encouraging more women to join and lead within our industry.
